Sabinus is at it again! This time, his “smart move” turns into premium tears. Here’s what happened.
His boss handed him money and said, “Sabinus, take this money and buy a new generator cable. The old one, as you claimed, is not the stronger one.”
Sabinus, smelling an opportunity, grinned and said, “Oga, you are too wise! Don’t worry, I will handle it like a professional.” But in his mind, another idea was cooking.
Instead of heading to the store, he took a sharp left turn into a betting shop. “Why waste this money on a cable when I can double it?” he thought. With confidence, he placed a bet, dreaming of how he would return as a hero with both the new cable and extra change in his pocket.
But wahala no dey finish! Within minutes, his screen flashed “YOU LOST” in bold letters. Sabinus screamed, “Jesus! My money! My oga’s money! My life!” It was over, he had lost everything.
Knowing he couldn’t explain the missing money, Sabinus decided to outsmart his boss. “Since the old cable is still working, let me start the gen and pretend I bought a new one.” He walked confidently to the generator, pulled the cord… PA! Sparks flew! The cable snapped instantly!
His boss rushed out. “Sabinus! Where is the new cable!?”
Sabinus, now sweating bullets, stammered, “Oga… The devil is a liar! The new cable just cut again!”
Before he could blink, his boss removed his slippers. And just like that, Sabinus was on the run!
